- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance and highly regulated industries.
- Experience editing others' writing.
- Experience working on internal communications and media relations.
Experience working with executives, including clinicians and nurses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- (30%) β Leads and creates large and moderately complex communications plans.
- (30%) β Writes and edits content for internal and external audiences, including intranet stories, memos, leader talking points, presentations, news releases and social media. Coordinates photos, events and media pitches.
- (10%) β Manages relationships and engagement with partners internally and externally.
- (10%) β Researches, applies insights and data to communications solutions.
- (10%) β Determines priority of work within a larger body of work aligned with strategy. Tracks and measures against goals and KPIs. Guide projects through ambiguity, solving problems and removing barriers, and making trade off decisions as needed.
- (10%) β Provide media relations support including occasional βon-callβ responsibilities on evenings, weekends and holidays. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
