This remote, data-driven role reports to the CMO and focuses on automation, segmentation, and delivering the right message at the right time. The specialist will act as the primary HubSpot power user, translating strategy into high-impact email campaigns, automated nurture streams, and conversion-oriented landing pages, to reduce churn, increase LTV, and build a predictable, scalable revenue engine.Key ResponsibilitiesLifecycle Marketing & AutomationDevelop and execute end-to-end lifecycle strategies within HubSpot, including welcome/onboarding, engagement, churn prevention, and win-back workflows.Partner with marketing to build and manage automated MQL handoff and nurture sequences.Continuously A/B test email content, subject lines, send times, and nurture logic to maximize performance.Email & Landing Page ExecutionServe as the hands-on HubSpot Marketing Hub expert, owning email and landing page creation, testing, and deployment.Build and maintain a library of mobile-responsive, on-brand templates for scalable use.Manage state-specific deadline pushes, promotional offers, and broadcast email campaigns.Apply basic copywriting and editing skills to support landing page and email execution.Segmentation & PersonalizationDevelop and maintain the core segmentation model in HubSpot, including profession, state, engagement, and LTV.Implement personalization using smart content and tokens to enhance relevance and conversion rates.Ensure data integrity and list hygiene within the marketing database.Performance Analysis & ReportingMonitor and report on email and lifecycle campaign performance, with a focus on engagement, conversion, and revenue contribution.Analyze campaign results to provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations.Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate data flow from HubSpot to BI tools.Market Research & OptimizationStay updated on email marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and CAN-SPAM compliance.Use HubSpot Analytics to download, analyze, and interpret data to improve KPIs.CollaborationWork closely with creative, analytics, and marketing teams to align lifecycle strategies with broader business goals.Provide strategic recommendations based on data and A/B test outcomes.QualificationsExperience3–5+ years in email marketing, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing.1–2 years of experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub; experience with other CRMs such as Salesforce is a plus.Proven experience building automated nurture streams, retention campaigns, and lead scoring models.Proficiency in A/B testing, experiment design, and HubSpot workflows.Familiarity with HTML/CSS for troubleshooting emails and landing pages is a plus.Multiple recognized HubSpot certifications are considered a green flag.SkillsStrong analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights.Operational rigor with clear processes for error-free execution.Customer-focused approach to designing empathetic, effective customer journeys.Data-driven decision-making and rapid optimization based on test results.Self-starter who drives results and is motivated by KPIs such as CVR, churn rate, and LTV.Comfortable managing ambiguity and building processes from scratch.What Success Looks LikeFully operational HubSpot email engine and landing page system replacing third-party tools.Launch of proactive retention model v1 with automated churn and win-back workflows.Implemented B2C nurture streams that move leads toward initial purchase.Lifecycle KPI dashboard established, reporting on churn, LTV, engagement, and conversion rates.Consistent improvement in email engagement, deliverability, and landing page conversion metrics.OpportunityThis opportunity is ideal for a HubSpot expert who wants to build and scale a retention marketing function from the ground up.
