Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic
Lean Six Sigma Freelance Process & Data Consultant who
excels in collecting, analyzing, and presenting diverse data sets to uncover insights and drive
strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in data analysis
and visualization with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to lead impactful process
improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Guidance on Raw/Historical Data Collection
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic
decisions.
Project Leadership and Documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions aligned with
strategic goals (internal and external).
- Document processes, create detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of project
progress and outcomes.
Comprehensive Process Analysis
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement process
improvements that drive operational excellence.
- Conduct root cause analyses and design experiments to test and validate process
changes.
- Collaborate with internal and external constituent teams to ensure a deep
understanding of unique processes and improvement opportunities.
Collaborative Implementation
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate findings and
recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data visualization tools using MS Power BI
to present real-time insights.
- May require approximately 10% travel to various client locations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial
Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (required); additional
advanced knowledge/skills in Power BI and/or other data analysis tools are required.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 or more years experience with proven track record of delivering
significant business impact through process improvement initiatives with
demonstrated achievements in (cost reduction, cycle time, quality improvement,
and other measurable ROI initiatives).
- Proven ability to analyze and integrate quantitative and qualitative data into
actionable insights.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Experience with advanced data/statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, QI Macros,
Tableau, Advanced Excel, etc.).
- Strong skills in process mapping and process improvement methodologies.
