Intern, Operations Strategy

As an Intern, Operations Strategy, you will support leadership and the Operations Strategy team by contributing to strategy work, delivering insights, and helping keep key initiatives on track. You’ll gain a deep understanding of how the business is organised, how operational processes run end-to-end, and how success is measured through metrics and KPIs.

What You’ll Do

1. Support strategic initiatives and plans for operational areas (e.g., Customer Support, Payments) and assist with project delivery tracking: proactively engage with stakeholders to monitor progress, identify blockers, and flag risks.
2. Maintain and update initiative trackers, dependency logs, and key milestones; highlight changes that may affect Operations (e.g., new product releases, commercial initiatives, or changes in the compliance environment).
3. Document end-to-end operational processes and support KPI reporting by pulling data, validating definitions, and helping improve dashboards/metrics documentation.
4. Participate in cross-functional meetings to take notes, capture actions, and support follow-ups related to operational KPIs, project status, priorities, and dependencies.
5. Draft summaries and briefing materials for review to support leadership decision-making; help maintain shared documentation and enable the team to respond to operational questions across the business.

Who you are

1. Proactive problem-solver: you propose potential solutions and next steps. You communicate clearly and can synthesize large amounts of information into concise outputs.
2. Data proficiency with experience in SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau or Metabase) to extract, analyse, and present insights that support decision-making.
3. Curious and adaptable: interested in working in a fintech environment that is dynamic, fast-paced, and regulated. You take feedback well, ask clarifying questions early, and adapt to shifting priorities.
4. Interested in crypto and digital assets: basic understanding (or strong willingness to learn) blockchain mechanics, transaction flows, custody operations, and trading infrastructure.
5. Nice-to-have curiosity of automation and iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, n8n and so on) for workflow automation and process optimisation.
