Healthcare New Business Strategist - Freelance Position at Lucid Group

ABOUT LUCID US

The Lucid Group is a multi-capability global healthcare services company that partners with the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to deliver pioneering solutions that change behaviour, improve clinical practice and advance health outcomes. Lucid US comprises two divisions. The larger HCP Promo division works with clients across the Rx, Medical Device, OTC and Consumer Device categories to deliver compelling communications solutions for in-market assets. The smaller US MedComms division works with both US and Global brand teams to create powerful medical communications solutions for early lifecycle assets.

THE ROLE

• Healthcare-Specific Story Development: Develop and articulate a persuasive narrative tailored to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, highlighting commercial opportunities, and aligning with regulatory and market dynamics.

• Industry Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including creative, account management, and strategy, to integrate insights such as market trends, patient needs, communication angles, and competitive landscapes into the pitch.

• Presentation Leadership: Lead the delivery of the story in client pitches, showcasing an in-depth understanding of healthcare audiences, therapeutic areas, and compliance requirements.

• Pitch Strategy for Healthcare: Apply proven expertise in crafting and delivering pitches that have successfully converted opportunities inside of pharmaceutical and healthcare companies into long-term business partnerships.

• Capability Building: Lead on the creation of a clear methodology and the transfer of knowledge and skill to client team leadership, so that they improve their capabilities in developing and delivering compelling pitches to clients that results in measurable improvements in conversion rates.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Extensive experience in sales or consulting within the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, with a proven track record of winning business in this space.

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry dynamics, including regulatory constraints, market access, and key stakeholders (e.g., HCPs, patients, payers).

• Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills tailored to healthcare clients.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex medical and market data into compelling narratives.

• Creative and strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of building trust and inspiring confidence in healthcare clients.
