Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with project management and vendor management.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role involving strategy and negotiation.
  • Experience in the Retail/Carrier, Operations or Consulting
    industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support partner engagement in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to bring strategic vision.
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of business acumen.

About the job

Under the management and guidance of the France Country Director, Devices & Service, you will lead the Channel Sales & Activations team to drive the execution of hardware product launches as well as Google’s day to day in channels across major partners in France.

You will be a core contributor to deliver the business plan through incremental sales in channels, ramp up RSAs knowledge and advocacy as well as deliver execution in our third-party carrier retailers and telco partners. You will build a thorough partner relationship network and lead discussions to align on joint operational ambitions to support the growth of our entire range of products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Devices and Services France Director to support all business operations. Own OPEX budget planning, channel strategy and vision, and remain key owner of its execution.
  • Drive operational excellence across all channels with a focus on sales associates incentives, point of sales merchandising and sales associates training. Foster collaboration across France and with regional and global teams.
  • Drive a mandated field team through SLA’s and term of contract to provide operational support for partners. Build and develop a business partner network relationship in order to generate joint business opportunities.
  • Scale Partner Operations through innovation, efficiency gains, and root cause analysis. Streamline the operational workflow by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Own insights and data analysis collected on the field and articulate them in order to trigger relevant business decisions for the wider cross-functional team.
