We are seeking a talented and motivated
Graphic Designer to join an in-house advertising agency for a leading global biopharmaceutical company. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of 100+ creative professionals, collaborating on innovative digital and print materials for 30+ industry-leading brands.
This hybrid role requires you to work
on-site at least three days a week in a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly office in Mettawa, IL. With bright, open spaces and exceptional amenities (hello, sushi Wednesdays and an on-site gym!), you'll find everything you need to thrive.
Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, web developers, motion artists, writers, and project managers to create user-centric, FDA-compliant materials.
- Design and update a wide range of projects, including brochures, journal ads, packaging, event signage, emails, web banners, interactive PDFs, and websites.
- Visualize clinical trial data and develop infographics in Illustrator and InDesign.
- Create email campaign layouts using Knak and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Design interactive sales aids for Veeva CRM and prototype web and social media assets using Adobe XD or Figma.
- Optimize images, wireframe designs, and adhere to brand guidelines and UI/UX principles.
- Present designs to teams, articulate creative decisions, and respond to feedback with agility.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital and print design.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and XD or Figma.
- Familiarity with current design trends and digital/print technologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Receptive to feedback and capable of quick turnarounds.
Portfolio:
- A professional portfolio showcasing digital and print work (required).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Knak, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Background in the pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
- Flexibility to work overtime on time-sensitive projects.
