Graphic Designer - Contract at Pyramid Communications

Pyramid is looking for freelance graphic and visual designers who are passionate about strategic design and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, to support our team on an as-needed contract basis. 

Ideal partners are highly motivated, adept at taking and giving creative direction and feedback, and motivated in managing and leading their own projects. Designers work on a wide range of projects for a diverse client base.

You Have…

Some of the skills and experience we’re looking for include: 

• Visual design experience (agency and nonprofit client experience preferred) in web design, brand and graphic design, motion graphics, and illustration
• A strong aesthetic sense with knowledge of color, layout, typography, as well as user-interface design principles and standards
• High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in designing for web and mobile, and an understanding of accessibility best practices. 
• Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to confidently and successfully present creative concepts and rationales to internal teams and clients
• Proven experience working in collaborative teams
• Experience in print production and collateral design
• Experience using AfterEffects, Adobe XD, and/or Figma
• Experience designing infographics, data visualizations and other information-rich materials
