About the role:

  1. Understand the Clients Specifications.
  2. Write Game Design Document (GDD) and Model Metadata. 
  3. Conceptualizing game mechanics, data modelling, value balancing, rules, and settings for new games.

A thorough understanding of game design:

  1. Core and Secondary Loops.
  2. Construct level structure.
  3. Form data structures, balance data, and interlink data of feature systems in spreadsheets.
  4. Define User Interface and Controls.
  5. Define the User Experience.
  6. Research game target segments and analyze market opportunity.

Nice to haves :

  1. Passionate about Video Games, large list of played games
  2. Knowledge of the gaming industry, trends and new releases
  3. Proficiency with wireframes, document writing, and spreadsheets
  4. Strong foundation of math and economics, especially with regards to data modelling
  5. Good communication skills
  6. Technical knowledge
  7. Critical thinking and analysis
