Front End Developer - Agparts Worldwide - Greensburg, Pennsylvania, United States

JOB SUMMARY: The Front-End Developer is responsible for implementing high-quality user interfaces for our Chromebook asset management software in schools.  The Front-End Developer works closely with our UI/UX designers to bring their designs to life through clean, efficient, and responsive code.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web interfaces


• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure accurate translation of designs into code


• Develop reusable components and libraries to improve efficiency and maintain consistency


• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for maximum performance


• Integrate front-end React/NextJS and Typescript code with NestJS back-end services


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions


• Implement and maintain front-end testing practices

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred)


• 3+ years of experience in front-end development


• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)


• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility


• Familiarity with front-end build tools and workflows


• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably GitLab


• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices


• Experience with UI component libraries and design systems


• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS


• Familiarity with ClickUp for project management


• Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation techniques


• Experience with front-end testing frameworks

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Remote work is acceptable, with less than 10% travel for team meetings and conferences


• Must be available during core hours of 11 AM to 3 PM Eastern Time
