About Us: We are launching a new wedding magazine dedicated to celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and love in all its forms. Our mission is to showcase the richness of wedding stories from various cultural backgrounds, orientations, and identities. We aim to break away from traditional norms and highlight a wide spectrum of love, ensuring everyone can find representation within our pages.

Our magazine will feature thoughtfully curated wedding stories, capturing not just the visual beauty but also the emotions, traditions, and personal journeys that make each wedding unique. Alongside real weddings, we will publish articles, interviews, and industry insights that explore the evolving landscape of weddings, inclusive practices, and representation in the wedding industry.

We are looking for 1-2 freelance writers who are passionate about diversity, multiculturalism, and weddings. Whether you're an experienced writer or looking to expand your portfolio, we welcome fresh voices and new perspectives.

What You’ll Do:

• Choose from pre-planned topics for our first two issues and craft well-researched, engaging articles.
• Write compelling wedding features, cultural deep-dives, trend pieces, and interviews that align with our editorial vision.
• Research cultural traditions, industry trends, and underrepresented love stories.
• Ensure accuracy, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity in all content.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining the magazine’s tone and style.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong writing skills with creativity and attention to detail.
• A passion for diversity, multiculturalism, and the wedding industry.
• Ability to research and write about cultural traditions, inclusive practices, and diverse love stories.
• Open to new and emerging writers—previous writing experience is a plus but not required.

Details & Compensation:

• Start Date: Estimated March 2025
• Payment: Paid per article written at $45, 1099 Contractor with benefits
• Work Style: Remote, freelance

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, But a Plus!):

• Previous writing experience (blogging, journalism, magazine writing, etc.)
• Familiarity with the wedding industry (in Arizona and beyond)
• Experience with interviewing and feature writing
• Understanding of SEO best practices for online articles
