You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a WordPress site, ensuring the site is optimized for performance and SEO. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creativity to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to client specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Utilize frameworks such as Bootstrap to ensure mobile responsiveness across all devices.
- Write clean, maintainable code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services using SOAP when necessary.
- Manage server configurations and deployments using tools like Ansible.
- Participate in system architecture discussions to improve site performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
- Familiarity with MVC design patterns and server-side scripting languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to optimize website content effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients seamlessly.
- A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to interact with founders and marketing leads.
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and bring ideas to the table.
