Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Freelance Social Media Videographers & Photographers who excel at executing client briefs through high-quality, on-location content production. This role requires the ability to read and interpret creative briefs, execute shoots that align with brand guidelines, and deliver compelling social media-ready content. You will be working on a contract basis for regular client shoots, producing visuals that meet specific deliverables and platform requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read & Execute Briefs: Thoroughly understand creative briefs, brand guidelines, and deliverables to ensure content meets client expectations.
  • On-Location Shoots: Travel to client sites and capture high-quality video and photography that aligns with project objectives.
  • Client Shoots: Work on a recurring freelance basis to capture content for multiple clients across different industries.
  • Content Optimization: Tailor content for different social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring optimal formats and aspect ratios.
  • Post-Production: Edit and enhance video and photo content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all necessary gear, lighting, and accessories are prepared and in top condition before shoots.
  • Provide Own Equipment: Must have and maintain professional-grade camera gear, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with social media trends to create relevant, engaging content that maximizes audience engagement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with social media managers and creative directors to ensure alignment with campaign strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, videography, and photography.
  • Brief Interpretation: Strong ability to understand and execute creative briefs accurately.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in camera equipment, lighting setups, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent).
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of content performance on various social media platforms.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing video and photography work optimized for digital and social media.
  • Reliability & Organization: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver content on deadline.
  • Adaptability: Experience working across multiple industries and brand aesthetics.
  • Motion Graphics (Bonus): Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
