Freelance Product Reviewer - Home Appliances

We are seeking a knowledgeable, reliable, and experienced freelance Product Reviewer located in Melbourne, Florida (or willing to commute regularly). This role will write high-quality product reviews, conduct thorough product assessments, and coordinate product deliveries and inventory. This work involves being on-site at a staging home conduct product reviews and write engaging, highly knowledgeable content within communicated turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write original, high-quality, knowledgeable content that aligns with the site’s voice.
- Coordinate and accept deliveries, track products, and install home appliances for your assessment and review.
- Maintain organized inventory of products and provide reports, as needed.
- Deliver publish-ready content (including revisions) within required deadlines.
- Able to average 10-20 product reviews per month.
- Adhere to brand and content guidelines.
- Accept and implement feedback, completing revisions and editing when necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong, proven writing skills and the ability to produce polished, engaging content, ideally about home appliances and
- Organization and responsible to coordinate deliveries and possibly returns of large home-appliances.
- Physical requirements for handling products – must be able to:
- Work independently.
- Stand, sit, kneel, or crouch for periods of time.
- Able to lift and move heavy home appliances up to 50lbs.
- Willing to use dollies and hand trucks to move heavier appliances.
- Flexibility to work on diverse assignments, each with unique requirements.
- A commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience with Wordpress a plus, but not required.
Compensation and Expectations:
- This role is a retained freelance position, which pays $4,000 USD per month.
- You set your own hours, write original content, and conduct your own product assessments and reviews, however you may need to be on-site for coordinated product delivery times.
- You will be expected to be on-site at the product testing location in Melbourne, Florida.
