About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Freelance Motion Designer to create high-impact digital animations for a variety of platforms, including digital billboards, stadium LED screens, social media, and digital display ads. This role is ideal for someone experienced in motion graphics, digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, social media content, and display ad animation—from large-scale visuals to engaging online experiences.

You must provide a professional portfolio to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate motion graphics for digital billboards, stadium LED screens, and large-format digital displays.
  • Develop engaging motion content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), including ads, GIFs, reels, and animated posts.
  • Create animated digital display ads (HTML5, GIF, MP4) for programmatic advertising, website placements, and paid media campaigns.
  • Adapt animations to different aspect ratios and resolutions to ensure optimized playback across all platforms.
  • Ensure all motion assets align with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Optimize content for visibility, legibility, and engagement across digital screens, social channels, and ad networks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in motion design for digital billboards, stadium screens, social media, and display advertising.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar tools.
  • Experience with HTML5 animated display ads (Google Web Designer or Adobe Animate preferred).
  • Strong understanding of frame rates, resolutions, and best practices for DOOH media, social media, and display ad formats.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with creative teams.
  • Experience exporting optimized files for LED screens, social media platforms, and ad networks.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in advertising, sports entertainment, or event-based marketing.
  • Familiarity with interactive motion graphics and dynamic ad formats.
  • Knowledge of dynamic creative optimization (DCO) for display ads.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
