Freelance Developer at Qujam

Background: Blink Advertising owns Qujam, a self-serve advertising platform known that anyone can use. We are seeking a talented, reliable part-time or freelance developer to contribute to help further grow Qujam.

Company Overview:Blink Advertising is a dynamic, full-service advertising agency servicing the Pittsburgh, PA area and beyond. Qujam, our cutting-edge self-service geofence advertising platform was originally launched in 2023 and allows its users to target potential customers based on the locations they have been. This position is fully remote with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Qujam using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs, including payment processing (Stripe).
• Work with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Leverage AWS services such as EC2, Cognito, and SES.
• Optimize application performance and usability.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues impacting customer experience.
• (Nice to Have) Integrate with a map API and customize the presentation layer.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Fluent in Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or a similar NoSQL database.
• Working knowledge of AWS EC2, Cognito, and SES.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Understanding of the advertising industry and demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as Simpli.fi.
• Experience working within an advertising agency environment.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $60-80 per hour.

Schedule:

• 25-33 hours of development work per month that can be completed asynchronously. We ask that the applicant be available during the Monday - Friday work week in case of possible technical issues.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
