At the core of their job, a digital copywriter develops and strengthens a client’s message through written communications like blogs, slogans, ads, scripts, social media content, and other forms of advertising copy. Diving into the data to clarify their marketing strategy and influence their research and writing is what makes our content writer stand out from the average writer.

In an average day, a Freelance Writer for BadCat Digital will work on a variety of tasks assigned to them including writing blog posts and articles, developing brand campaigns, creating website content, and crafting engaging social media posts.

Essential Job Functions

• Write captivating, unique, and informative monthly content calendars that are branded for each specific social platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
• Create social media graphics using Canva and premade branded templates as a guide
• Write informative monthly blogs based on provided keyword research
• Craft engaging, optimized website copy
• Edit document drafts to meet client satisfaction
• Complete thorough industry research to understand the client’s product, market, and industry
• Research current trends in digital marketing

A Freelance Writer for BadCat Digital is a completely remote position. Working hours are completely at the writer's discretion, as long as deadlines are met and projects are completed and turned in on time.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.56 - $30.00 per hour
