Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.


Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial models and databases.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends and economic conditions to inform business strategies.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for mitigation or capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information and provide financial insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Paylocity HRIS experience preferred
    • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Multi-state payroll experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Computer Use: Frequent use of a computer for data analysis, report generation, and communication.
  • Visual Acuity: Must be able to read and interpret data on computer screens and printed materials.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Mobility: Occasional walking, standing, and reaching within the office environment.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues and clients.
