  • 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience interpreting and applying Federal, State and Local EHS regulations across the assigned locations in North and South America.
  • Experience working with vendors on elevating their EHS programs and driving their performance plans.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience building stakeholder relationships, and leveraging data to influence decision making.
  • Experience in people management and the ability to travel as needed.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. In this role, you will guide the team for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs at our data centers throughout North and South America. You will ensure a consistent and uniform approach to operational EHS legal compliance, program execution, and resource management across the region. By partnering with internal teams and our extended workforce, you will play a vital part in identifying and mitigating EHS risks. You will also guide new and critical projects, providing the oversight necessary to continuously enhance our comprehensive EHS initiatives.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the North and South America Data Center EHS Operations team, overseeing strategy, team development, and objectives.
  • Manage regional EHS compliance, budgeting, recruiting, and performance plans to ensure uninterrupted data center operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global EHS leads and stakeholders to identify improvements and enhance the Google EHS program.
  • Optimize EHS processes for managing Temporary, Vendor, and Contractor (TVCs), as well as third-party logistics vendors.
  • Support the development of a framework to improve regional work sharing, integration, and operational efficiency.
