We are currently looking for a Director/Principal - Platform Product Manager - Security and Observability in the United States.In this senior leadership role, you will own the strategy and execution of platform product management for security, observability, and operational tools across enterprise SaaS systems. You will define product roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the platform meets high standards for security, compliance, and operational excellence. Your work will influence internal operations, regulatory adherence, and customer-facing capabilities, delivering scalable, innovative solutions that align with evolving market trends and industry best practices. This role combines technical depth with strategic vision, offering a unique opportunity to shape platform capabilities in a fast-moving, complex environment. You will also mentor and grow a high-impact product management team, championing customer-focused innovation and operational efficiency. Accountabilities:Own the platform product management function for security, identity, governance, and observability capabilities, driving innovation aligned with business goals.Define and prioritize technology roadmaps to integrate advanced analytics, automation, and compliance within the platform.Develop detailed product requirements with clear acceptance criteria and partner with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Establish identity and secrets management systems, multi-tenancy architectures, and secure access frameworks.Lead the design of encryption, privacy, and governance tools to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.Define platform monitoring, auditing, and metering capabilities to provide visibility into system health, usage, and user activity.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and customer teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.Build partnerships with industry stakeholders to anticipate trends, influence policy, and ensure platform differentiation.Mentor and develop a high-performing platform product management team, fostering innovation and customer obsession.Requirements10+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform, security, or operational tools, preferably in financial services technology or analytics.Proven track record defining and launching successful security or infrastructure products and SaaS platforms.Deep understanding of security principles, including IAM, PKI, secrets management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.Strong technical background and ability to engage in detailed discussions with engineers on architecture, APIs, and non-functional requirements.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across diverse teams.Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack).Familiarity with financial services regulations, compliance, and risk management frameworks is desirable.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Demonstrated experience translating regulatory, security, and market requirements into actionable product roadmaps and features.
