Director of Business Development – Clinical Research
A leading clinical research organization dedicated to advancing healthcare through patient-centric clinical trials and studies is looking for a Business Development Director to join the team. Collaborating with top industry partners, they focus on ethical research, regulatory compliance, and innovation to bring groundbreaking medical solutions to market.Job Summary:A dynamic sales professional with experience in clinical research business development is sought for a full-time, remote role (with occasional travel). This individual will drive new business growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand clinical trial opportunities. Candidates must have prior experience in clinical research sales.Key Responsibilities:Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotech, and contract research organizations (CROs).Secure new business opportunities in site-based, hybrid, and fully decentralized clinical trials.Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.Represent the company at industry conferences and events to showcase capabilities and expertise.Maintain accurate client records using CRM tools and foster strong client relationships.Qualifications & Experience:Proven sales experience in clinical research, with a track record of closing deals.Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.Self-motivated with the ability to identify leads and implement sales strategies.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM software.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2-5 years of experience in clinical research or site networks.Seniority level
