Come join the COACT team to help elevate our agency and win new business! In the role of New Business Director, you will partner with leadership in running new business pitches. This includes acquiring new clients, as well as defending any current clients should they put their business up for review. The objective is to secure and build long-term client relationships and manage our agency’s approach to the pitch process. The right candidate will approach the role with tenacity, enthusiasm, and an 'whatever it takes' attitude. Leadership and this role work closely as a team, and a candidate’s ability to work as such will be crucial to their success. Responsibilities

Contribute in development and elevation of pitch content to ensure a compelling, bold presentation. Add strategic value at each stage of the pitch process through your ability to effectively evaluate all pitch content. Understand the changing marketing and advertising agency landscape. Guide and execute pitch coordination – timelines, checkpoints, deliverables, design and pitch approach. Overall logistics management of new business pitches, from in-person to virtual meeting management. Understanding of all aspects of our agency offerings, from creative, digital marketing, and experiential. Closely collaborate with leadership to ensure a consistent, winning strategy is deployed across all pitches. Ensure accountability across key pitch stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliverables. Qualifications

5+ years of creative/marketing ad agency or client experience (preferred) or background in business development for a creative/marketing agency. Experience in storytelling and creative thinking. Self-starter who is curious and proactively thinks around corners. Great planner, with excellent attention to detail and a passion for organizing process and people. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment under pressure to meet deadlines. Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams to a common vision. A relentless competitive nature and hunger to win. Fearless and confident leader in group settings and with executive leadership - setting expectations and flagging potential issues before they happen. Strategic mindset - seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. Winning storytelling, strategic writing, editing and communication skills.
