Our team has a diverse mix of skills and cross training is a strategy, so flexibility will be required.Your role in the team will be to design and implement software development practices, services and tools to provide a ecosystem of development environments for streamlined system delivery.Key Responsibilities: -Develop, Review, and implement CI/CD principles including containerization using Docker.Implement DevSecOps tools’ standards and common ways of working and β€˜Best Practices’.Design, implement, and maintain both AWS and on-premises infrastructure for Pre-Production and Production EnvironmentsImplementing identity and access management (IAM) policiesWork closely with Development and QA teams to ensure that applications are developed and deployed efficiently.Create and manage resource deployment strategies, ensuring efficient utilization and scalability.Support Continuous automation to enable seamless deployments and monitoring of software applications.Repository creation and implement.Provision Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the DevOps architectureDevelop and maintain comprehensive network configurations to ensure seamless integration between on premises and cloud environments.Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, quality gates, guidelines, and governance of Continuous Integration systems.Configure and maintain various servers, databases, and networks to ensure infrastructure is always up and running and any issues are resolved quickly.QualificationsWhat You'll BringExperience in implementing, testing and deploying cloud infrastructure platforms into on premises environmentAbility to effectively manage multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and riskAbility to work and liaise with team remotely due to the organisational structure being spread between Canberra and Melbourne on different networks.AWS certifications are highly desirableExperience with below tools and technologies leveraged in this role will be highly desirable:AWSAtlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket etc)Kubernetes and RancherGitLabJFrog ArtifactoryAnsible (including Tower)Hashicorp TerraformHelmDue to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a NV1 security clearance and be capable of upgrading to a PV security clearance.Additional InformationWe’ve been keeping Australia safer, healthier and more efficient for 25 years, here’s just three ways how:We work with the Australian Department of Defence to design and operate the cyber security tools used across the Army, Navy and Air force.We deliver software development and operational support through to the integration of underwater autonomous vehicles and survey ships to meet mission objectives.We’re building the next generation secret end user environment for the Australian Department of Defence across a number of strategic locations around Australia.Β At Leidos, we embrace diversity and are committed to creating a truly inclusive workplace.
