We're seeking an experienced WordPress developer with a keen eye for design to join our project roster. As a dental marketing agency serving clients nationwide, we value developers who blend technical expertise with strong aesthetic sensibilities.
The ideal collaborator brings both development prowess and design finesse to create engaging, conversion-focused WordPress experiences for our dental clients. You'll work with various page builders while maintaining high design standards across all projects.
Core Technical Requirements:
- Mastery of modern WordPress development
- Advanced proficiency with popular page builders
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Experience building custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks
- Ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementations
- Mobile-responsive implementation
- Cross-browser compatibility
- Custom functionality development
Design & UX Focus:
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design sensibilities
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices for conversion optimization
- Ability to enhance and maintain brand consistency
- Eye for typography, color theory, and modern web aesthetics
- Design system implementation
Additional Experience not required, but beneficial:
- Integration with marketing tools
- API integration experience
- Custom WordPress theme development
- Creation of reusable component libraries
Experience Level:
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development
- Proven track record of high-end client work
- Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects
- Experience in healthcare/dental industry a plus
Collaboration:
- Work directly with our marketing team
- Contribute to project planning and technical decisions
- Provide expertise on WordPress best practices
- Clear communication and timely project updates
Location & Availability:
- Must be based in EST or CST timezone
- Flexible hours with some overlap for team collaboration
- Long-term relationship potential for the right candidate
