Freelance Brand Strategist & Creative Director (Part-Time / Contract)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Brand Strategist & Creative Director to help establish and refine Tsukuru’s brand identity, creative strategy, and marketing approach. This role will focus on developing a cohesive brand communication strategy, content creation framework, and advertising mechanics to help Tsukuru stand out in the fast-casual sushi market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication Strategy (Brand Identity & Positioning)

  • Identify intersections between Tsukuru’s target audience, product, and market positioning
  • Define brand values, mission, and creative principles that shape visual communication
  • Develop two brand concept approaches with clear ideas, mood boards, and positioning statements
  • Optimize branding and content strategy to fit within budget constraints
  • Provide visual brand guidelines and find comparable brand inspirations
  • Offer recommendations for viral marketing tactics, influencer collaborations, and promotion strategies

2. Creative Strategy (Content & Advertising)

  • Develop mood boards for product photography and marketing content
  • Create a framework for content mechanics, including image-based, viral, and interactive marketing strategies
  • Outline 5–10 content scenarios per marketing category (social media, advertising, engagement strategies)

3. Naming & Messaging

  • Develop brand and product naming concepts aligned with brand identity ( if necessary ).

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
