Position Purpose: Under general supervision, the Associate Director, Systems Analysis, will partner with various business areas, serving as a project coordinator, business analyst, tester, and mentor for staff. This role involves active participation in projects as a Business Systems Analyst and leading a team of Business Analysts to provide expertise in the analysis, configuration, and testing of business applications. The position demands a balanced proficiency in analysis, project management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

Provides leadership in requirements gathering and testing phases of SDLC/projects.
Works with business leaders and internal IT Partners to ensure coordination and completion of work efforts.
Consults with business partners to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, workflows, problems, input and output requirements, usage, formatting and security requirements.
Analyzes business processes and user requirements to document project scope.
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
Identifies program, application and system problems and resolutions.
Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions and procedures.
Prepares deployment plans and manages release schedules.
Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
Plans, assigns and reviews work of other analysts.
Develops and improve existing project execution processes to align to DevOps, Agile and waterfall efforts.
Coach and mentors business systems analyst team.
Solves complex business problems.
Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
Additional duties as requested or required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or business administration.
10 years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Visio and SQL
Data analysis and Project Management skills
Ability to lead other business analysts and develop team members in best practices.
Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with cross-functional partners and senior management
Ability to effectively and consistently execute multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills
Must have ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
