Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in recruiting, with experience recruiting for AI talents.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese or Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in either technical recruiting or technical sourcing.
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of the LATAM AI talent landscape, key companies.
  • Ability to grow customer relationship management, provide consultative skills, and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and manage relationships.

In this role, you will support outcomes for a Artificial Intelligence (AI) talent ecosystem as a contributor in order to meet hiring demand, making sure to build and execute against a hiring process that works for all applicants in Latin America. You will solve staffing problems, collaborating on significant or unique problems, identifying and recommending ways to improve on solutions. You will support hiring strategy and applicant management, working across-teams in a particular area of Google. You will perform staffing analysis and talent assessments and partner with businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate skill level, conduct efficient and professional interview processes, and drive offer processes, including reference checks when appropriate, salary recommendations and facilitations, and closing of applicants.
  • Manage applicants through Google's multi-faceted hiring process, maintaining a focus on excellent applicant and partner experience throughout the process. Propose and implement ongoing improvements to Google’s recruitment efforts.
  • Partner with hiring teams and peers to drive initiatives towards diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.
  • Keep partners apprised of and involved in work by communicating information and status to project leads and team members, coordinating work cross-functionally and influencing at multiple levels.
  • Be involved in the staffing business strategy that will be the framework for achieving an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, and strong client management and applicant satisfaction.
