Responsibilities:
- Shall work to coordinate communication within the Board of Directors and ensure actions points are adhered to.
- Ensure the smooth running of the administrative and clerical functions of the organisation including managing office assets, Health & Safety, contacts list, and database.
- Prepare updates for the Board, and National Executive Committee.
- Meeting preparation: Creating agendas, preparing materials, and scheduling meetings.
- Record keeping: Taking and recording minutes for board meetings and committee meetings.
- Manage suppliers- print and design, stationery, and other supplies.
- Manage travel and accommodation bookings.
- Manage HR records- work with the Independent Selection Committee (ISC) to manage GR records of the Board.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are always in line with current internal and external factors such as project management guidelines.
- Assisting the ISC with board elections.
- Document maintenance: Maintaining board records and governing documents.
Requirements
- Knowledge and interest in developing the Muslim student scene and the advancement of the British Muslim community.
- Proven experience in working at pace.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and Google Suite.
- Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
