Account Executive

Our Client, a progressive Third Party Logistics company, is seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join their team in the vibrant city of Gresham, Oregon. Situated just east of Portland and surrounded by Troutdale, Fairview, and Wood Village, Gresham is a thriving community conveniently located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and provide comprehensive logistics solutions to mid-market and enterprise companies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A solid understanding of various freight modes including FTL, LTL, and intermodal.
• Extensive knowledge of warehousing operations and supply chain optimization.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), rate negotiations, and logistics sales cycles.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and Excel.
• Proven experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with customs, international shipping, and carrier networks.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales process from initial contact to close.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Coordinating and liaising with service providers to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Managing and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Providing regular reports and updates to the senior management team.
• Understanding and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and market activities.

Pay and Benefits

Our Client is offering a competitive salary range of $69,535 to $89,535 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This is complemented with a comprehensive benefits package and an uncapped commission structure, providing a fantastic earning potential for a high-achieving Account Executive.
