Role description:
The Workforce Management Specialist is responsible for continuously overseeing (24/7) workforce schedules and staffing to ensure smooth operations and compliance with our Workforce Management Guidelines. You’ll play a key role in monitoring monthly and daily shift coverage, verifying attendance, and ensuring that each team is adequately staffed and prepared for monthly and daily demands.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan daily and monthly shift schedules         

  • Plan, organize and implement staff rotation strategy           

  • Investigate company's staffing needs and take actions to staff accordingly           

  • Assist in new employee onboarding         

  • Create, present and submit reports for upper management           

  • Verifies work schedules for employees to ensure the appropriate number of staff is available for each work shift          

  • Creates and maintains daily staffing reports, which include verifying employees' work hours, requested time off etc.           

  • Inconsistencies and scheduling concerns are reported to management to address          

  • Along with scheduling and monitoring employee work schedules, assist human resources in a variety of ways as requested by HR department and Team Managers           

  • Assisting in the orientation of new employees, explaining the requirements of work shifts and hours, as well as training new employees on systems or programs used to report work hours  

  • Other administrative tasks and related duties requested by the direct Supervisor or Management.            

Requirements:


  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources, Law, or a related field is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to work in an office-based shift system

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to quickly resolve scheduling conflicts and staffing issues

  • Adaptability to changing business needs and fluctuating workloads

  • Capable of making critical workforce decisions under pressure.
