Job Summary VP of Product Marketing, Cloud Are you ready to lead and inspire a world-class Product Marketing Team? At NetApp, we are in an exciting phase of rebuilding and developing a top-tier Product Marketing function, and we are looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader to join us as our Vice President of Product Marketing for the Cloud business.  As the Vice President of Product Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving all product. Solutions and technical marketing efforts end-to-end for NetApp’s Cloud business. You will also be a key player in the creation and establishment of a centralized Product Marketing function. This pivotal role requires a leader who can seamlessly collaborate with product management, corporate marketing, sales, and executive leadership to drive growth and achieve market leadership for the NetApp Data Platform across your specific area of business and our entire portfolio.  Your mission will be to build and develop a world-class Product Marketing Team, craft compelling product marketing messaging and strategies, and be a strategic leader and partner to the Cloud business leadership team. You will enable our sales teams with high-impact tools and materials, leverage market insights to inform product roadmaps, and ensure cross-functional alignment to deliver consistent messaging and execution across all touchpoints. Together, we will shape the future of data management and storage solutions.Key Responsibilities Build and Develop a World-Class Product Marketing Team: Hire and develop the existing team, augmenting with new skills, talent, and tools needed to scale.  Product Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market plans. Craft compelling, differentiated messaging and audience segmentations that resonate with buyers and are meaningful to sales teams.  Sales Enablement: Understand the needs of the sales organization to create high-impact sales tools, strategies, training, and customer-facing materials that empower the teams with technical, business, and market advantages.  Utilize market and customer insights to collaborate with product management and marketing teams to understand market needs, customer pain points, and key product differentiators, integrating them into roadmaps and marketing plans.  Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure consistent messaging and execution across all touchpoints by driving alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams.  Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature enhancements, as well as key cross-functional company moments.  Product-Led Growth: Leverage Product-Led Growth strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion, aligning marketing efforts with customer success and product teams.  Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing efforts and track the effectiveness of product launches and marketing campaigns.  Inclusive Environment: Champion and cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment where all team members can collaborate effectively and achieve organizational goals.  Ownership and Agility: Lead with a strong sense of ownership and a growth-oriented mindset, exhibiting the ability to pivot quickly and act with agility in response to business needs. Build and maintain excellent relationships, inspiring others through intellectual engagement and a change-oriented mindset.  Key Qualifications and Requirements 15 years of experience in marketing or product marketing roles, in a technically oriented business with a proven track record in leading functions for $5B+ technology businesses.  Demonstrated success in building and marketing world-class, enterprise-scale IaaS/PaaS/SaaS products from inception to market leadership. Experience in building markets and products from 0 to 1, ideal.  Strong business acumen and experience with data driven decision making across pricing, marketing and sales  Proven success in leading cross-functional teams to launch and grow products in a competitive market.  Strong ability to work cross-functionally and foster a culture of collaboration across product, engineering, corporate marketing, sales, and partner teams.  Exceptional storyteller with the ability to distill complex technologies into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree.  Compensation:The target salary range for this position is 293,250 - 379,500 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
