POSITION SUMMARYAlign trade marketing initiatives by leveraging analytical tools, identifying new strategic opportunities; developing and updating sales plans to increase assigned area(s) sales and profitability. This is a remote position with travel up to 20% of the time to CA, Texas, AZ, Illinois, and New York. Coordinates, develop and implement strategies for Category, Trade and Shopper initiatives for assigned area(s)Develop department and category insights to deliver greater share of promotion, distribution and shelvingAnalyze new growth opportunities by category; recommends new business opportunitiesEvaluates and measures campaign results; recommends changes to strategyCreate and deliver comprehensive category reviews and execute category initiatives with client in collaboration with stakeholders including but not limited to Revenue Management, Category Management and Field Sales teamsImplements Trade Marketing strategies; track budget, communicate results and make recommendations to stakeholdersOther duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experienceThree (2) years’ of trade marketing, brand management, or related experience Preferred Qualifications1 year broker or sales analyst role experienceBilingual in English and SpanishPrior experience of planning and managing P&LDatabase management experience in SQL, ACCESS, or similarConsumer Packaged Goods experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA’s)Working knowledge of category management processes and applicationsExperience in SAP, BW Analyzer and High JumpWorking knowledge of consumption databases such as NielsenStrong business and financial knowledge with business analytics skills and the ability to plan, track and evaluate trade managementAbility to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from existing systems and/or imperfect informationAbility to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writingStrong troubleshooting and problem resolution skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Access and Power Point, advanced skills in Excel, including Data Analysis, Pivot tables, and complex graphsAbility to build professional relationships with Trade Marketing and cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environmentAbility to work within a matrix organization 401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAnd more......Equal Employment Opportunity StatementSigma Foods and the Bar-S brand are Equal Opportunity Employers.
