Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise during the sales process, ensuring a deep understanding of customer requirements and aligning them with our software solutions.
  • Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations and support proof of concepts to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
  • Develop and design technical solutions tailored to customer requirements, creating detailed proposals and technical documentation that clearly articulate the solution's value proposition.
  • Support customer implementations and integrations, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to deployment, and addressing any technical challenges that arise.
  • Analyze customer technical needs and challenges to provide innovative solutions and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to communicate customer feedback and influence the roadmap for future product enhancements.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends and competitive solutions, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology.
  • Provide technical training to sales team members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively position our products.
  • Participate actively in technical conferences and trade shows, such as the Gartner Symposium and VMworld, to network with industry leaders and stay informed about emerging trends.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and technical consultant throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify and propose improvements to existing processes, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our sales strategies and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with a strong foundation in software development and system architecture.
  • 3-6 years of experience in technical sales or solutions engineering, demonstrating a successful track record in an engineering setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable terms for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities, capable of engaging audiences and effectively conveying the value of our solutions.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
  • Familiarity with the local tech landscape in Santa Ana, CA, and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this region.

  • Competitive salary range: $89,600 - $109,600 depending on experience, with a base salary plus bonus structure.
