Build your career at Asphalt Materials, Inc!The Technical Product Manager for eFlex will be responsible for driving sales growth, supporting field operations, and promoting a specialty asphalt product within a designated territory. This role combines strategic sales execution with hands-on field support to ensure product visibility, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.Essential FunctionsSales & Market DevelopmentDevelop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales goals for specialty asphalt productsAnalyze market trends, forecast budgets, and review competitor activities to identify growth opportunitiesDeliver technical value propositions and product education to agencies, contractors, and stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and equipment manufacturersRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunitiesUnderstand, provide input for, and promote product specifications​Field Operations SupportAct as the primary point of contact for field teams, resolving issues and ensuring alignment with company goalsConduct site visits to evaluate performance, ensure compliance, and support field activitiesPromote and enforce safety protocols and operational standardsBe present on projects for advising and documentingTrack design status and emulsion production and deliveryTrack project progress and provide timely updatesTeam Collaboration & LeadershipCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational efficiencyProvide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to field and sales teamsFoster a positive team environment and support professional developmentLead contractor training and development initiativesReporting & ComplianceTrack and report on sales performance, field operations, and market conditionsEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standardsMaintain accurate records and provide regular updates to leadershipUnderstand construction plans, bidding documents, plans, proposals, and cost estimatesAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.Education QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferredExperience Qualifications5+ years in sales, field operations, or management roles, ideally in construction materials or related industriesSkills and AbilitiesStrong leadership and communication abilitiesCustomer-focused with a proven track record in sales and relationship buildingProficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and field management toolsStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skillsComfortable working independently and collaborativelyLicenses and CertificationsValid driver's license is requiredWorking Conditions/Physical DemandsWillingness to travel 30–60% depending on season and project needs.About Asphalt Materials, Inc.Asphalt Materials, Inc. is a privately held, family-owned business headquartered in Indianapolis.
