Summer 2026 Intern - Product Marketing (MBA)

The Product Marketing – MBA Intern will collaborate with the Product Marketing team to define product market positioning and messaging. You will perform competitive analysis, assist with go-to-market launch strategies, and track performance. This role is crucial for developing and executing marketing initiatives for Workiva's products.What You'll DoCompile analyses and build financial models on customer trends and historical data to support product decision-makingLead and execute ad-hoc analyses to support data-driven initiatives and strategic projectsConduct performance analysis of existing products, including pricing, adoption, and usage trendsContribute to quarterly planning by helping define forward-looking product strategiesQuantify and size markets, identifying competitors, key players, and market trendsDesign creative analytics and visualizations to provide deeper performance insights for senior managementPerform go-to-market performance reviews, including win/loss analysis, to identify opportunities for improvementDevelop templates, tools, and communications to drive consistency in GTM processes, deliverables, and stakeholder alignmentIdentify gaps in GTM deliverables or needs and propose practical solutionsSupport the creation and refinement of marketing collateral through research and content curationBuild strong working relationships with sales, pre-sales, product management, enablement, services, customer success, and cross-marketing teamsWhat You'll Need Minimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Business or a related field of studyCurrently enrolled in a full-time or part-time MBA program or similar graduate or advanced degree programMinimum of 2 years work experience in strategic marketingPreferred QualificationsPossess proven leadership skills and the ability to influence and inspire your teamsExhibit a self-starter mindset to execute in a fast-paced environment with minimal directionDemonstrate a strong ability to develop and communicate product vision to your team, peers, and stakeholdersPossess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBe proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar applicationsPossess working knowledge in marketing automation or project management type systems (e.g., Marketo, Highspot, JIRA, Monday.com, HubSpot, GitHub)Be self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvementDemonstrate exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously under pressureExperience in SaaS or a similar industryExamples of owning and delivering a major project or programTravel Requirements & Working ConditionsMinimal travel Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeSponsorship RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the futureWhen can you expect to hear back?We are committed to attending all career fairs and recruitment events before closing our positions.
