And that's where you come in:K-12 Field Events Sr Specialist As K-12 Field Events Sr Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the team in ensuring that our many trade show presences go off without a hitch. You’re also responsible for assisting with our owned events and supporting our largest customer event, InstructureCon! You will work collaboratively to plan, run and report on these shows to ensure that we are creating meaningful engagements for our customers and prospective customers. The Field Events Sr Specialist is part of the K-12 marketing team. You will work with demand generation, account-based marketing, digital media and content marketing. And, as part of a team dedicated to a strategic division of Instructure, you’ll work hand-in-hand with many internal stakeholders across Instructure, including other marketing departments, Sales, Customer Success, Sales Development, Finance, Operations, Community and more! To be successful you will blend your passion for customer experiences with your creativity, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with vision. Someone who is creative, passionate, organized, and agile. Someone who loves events and the impact marketing can have on a business.What you will do:Assist in researching, negotiating and securing sponsorships and venues for specific events assigned including hotels, vendors and other resources for the event projectHelp maintain project plans and track deliverables in a timely and effective manner with a keen attention to detailCommunicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis regarding project status, including participating in Events meetingsWrite events briefs and keep track of events on associated documentsWork with Content and DG colleagues to create effective company listings and ads if requiredWork with sales drive teams and other stakeholders to execute all event deliverables before, during and after eventsExecute event plan including on-site support (travel is required)Conduct post-event feedback meetings and document in retrospective analysisProactively engage with stakeholders and vendors to determine needs and work with company resources to enable execution of event tacticsManage operational and administrative functions, including pre-event meetings to ensure event is delivered successfullyMaintain and order event support materialsManage and adhere to budgetWhat you will need to know/have:Proven experience with field marketing and events, education-industry experience is a major plusExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailProject management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneouslyAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of managementStrong time management skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyAbility to manage event budget and invoicing processesProficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Suite and project management software like Asana.Kindness and conscientiousness.A good sense of humor :)Get in on all the awesome at Instructure!We offer competitive, meaningful benefits in every country where we operate.
