We are flipping the script on customer support,turning what most companies treat as defense into a source of offense, driving loyaltyand growth.The Senior Director of Product Marketing, Platform is responsible for defining andscaling the Asurion platform narrative as a clear, differentiated advantage in the market.This role leads how we position, structure, and bring our platform to life, ensuring it isunderstood not as a collection of capabilities, but as a cohesive system that deliversmeasurable impact for our clients and customers.You will build the foundation for how Asurion shows up to the market, shaping platformpositioning, influencing product direction, and ensuring a consistent, credible, andcompelling story across buyers, analysts, and partners.What you’ll do Own platform positioning and narrative. Define and evolve a clear,differentiated platform story that resonates with enterprise audiences and setsAsurion apart. Bring clarity to complex capabilities. Translate technical and operationalcomplexity into simple, outcome-driven messaging that connects with businessand technical buyers. Shape how the platform is packaged and presented. Define how capabilitiesare organized, described, and brought to market to maximize clarity, relevance,and impact. Sharpen our competitive positioning. Monitor market trends, analyzecompetitors, and identify opportunities to strengthen differentiation and informstrategy. Partner across the business. Work closely with Product, Sales, and Solutions toensure consistent messaging across platform, solutions, industries, and buyersegments. Influence product and go-to-market strategy. Provide market input into productdirection and ensure the roadmap aligns with customer needs and competitivedynamics.Asurion Confidential Drive analyst and influencer engagement. Build relationships with key analystsand industry voices to strengthen Asurion’s market credibility and visibility. Develop partner narratives. Collaborate with strategic partners (e.g., AWS,Google Cloud) to define joint value propositions and go-to-market positioning. Lead launch strategy and execution. Ensure new platform capabilities areintroduced with clear messaging, strong alignment, and market impact. Build and lead a high-performing team. Develop and scale a team responsiblefor platform positioning, messaging, and strategy that aligns with the growth ofour business.What you bring 12+ years of experience in tech or platform product marketing, includingleadership roles Proven experience defining and scaling platform or category-level positioning Strong ability to simplify complex technologies into clear, compelling narratives Deep experience in competitive analysis and market strategy Track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders at senior levels Experience working with analysts and shaping external market perception Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environmentsWhat success looks like A clear, differentiated platform narrative adopted across the organization Consistent, high-quality messaging across all customer and partner touchpoints Stronger market perception of Asurion as a platform leader Clear competitive positioning that informs strategy and execution Successful launches that drive awareness, adoption, and growth
