The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, demand generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This leader will oversee marketing operations, integrated campaigns, events, competitive positioning, and sales enablement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and go-to-market priorities. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.What You’ll DoMarketing Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to company growth objectives and product roadmapLead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across multiple disciplinesPartner with executive leadership to define brand positioning and market differentiationEstablish KPIs and performance metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROIMarketing OperationsOversee marketing technology stack (CRM, automation tools, analytics platforms) to drive efficiency and scalabilityManage budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocationImplement processes to improve campaign execution, lead management, and reporting accuracyEnsure data integrity and alignment with sales operationsIntegrated Campaigns & Demand GenerationDesign and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue growthAlign closely with sales to ensure lead quality, conversion, and pipeline accelerationOptimize digital marketing efforts including paid media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and ABM strategiesLeverage data insights to continuously improve campaign performanceCompetitive Positioning & Product MarketingDefine and articulate clear, differentiated messaging and value propositionsLead competitive intelligence efforts to inform positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategiesPartner with product and sales teams to align messaging with customer needs and market trendsSales EnablementDevelop tools, content, and training programs to support the sales organizationEnsure consistent messaging and positioning across all customer touchpointsSupport product launches with enablement materials, playbooks, and internal communicationsEvents & Field MarketingDevelop and lead global event strategy, including trade shows, customer events, and industry conferencesDrive event ROI through pipeline generation and customer engagementPartner with sales to maximize field marketing impact and regional engagementWhat we are looking forBachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleExperience in B2B SaaS, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or enterprise softwareExperience in government contracting strongly preferredProven track record of driving demand generation and revenue growthStrong understanding of marketing operations, analytics, and marketing technologyExperience leading integrated campaigns across digital and offline channelsExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate strategically while maintaining executional excellence in a fast-paced environmentKey CompetenciesStrategic thinking and business acumenData-driven decision-makingCross-functional collaborationCustomer-centric mindsetExecutive presence and influenceChange leadership and adaptabilityWhat Success Looks LikeIncreased pipeline generation and marketing-attributed revenueStrong alignment between marketing, sales, and product teamsImproved brand recognition and market positioningScalable and efficient marketing operationsHigh-performing, engaged marketing teamSynonymous Job Title:Sr Marketing Director#LI-REMOTE-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $152,311.00 USD to 197,689.00 USDThe salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
