Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility and enrollment to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.Job OverviewThis position will be working in the Baseball division at Wasserman. This intern will actively prospect brands for partnership opportunities for Wasserman Baseball athletes. Among other things, this intern will create target lists, research specific markets and/or brands, assist in setting up meetings/calls with decision makers by making cold calls and other tasks pertaining to the athlete marketing process. This intern will report to the Senior Coordinator of NIL Marketing, Baseball. What You'll Do Support the Senior Coordinator NIL Marketing, Baseball with various tasksConduct cold calls and marketing outreach as directedCreate excel spreadsheets and external material to assist with marketing outreachResearch potential marketing opportunities for NIL athletesAssist in organizing client data to further client service and marketing efforts Support MLB client gifting initiatives by identifying brand partnersVarious administrative duties as assigned What We're Looking For Degree currently in progress, preferably in a sports/marketing-related field Applicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate, and enthusiasticApplicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills Applicants should have an interest in sports business and sales/marketingApplicants should have an understanding of social media and its use in athlete marketingApplicants should be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing efforts of athletesApplicants with sales, marketing, and business development experience are strongly preferredWell-developed communication, organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Display indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and playersInternship Program Details:Must be able to earn college credit for an internshipRuns from January 27, 2026 –May 1, 2026This is a remote opportunity20 hours per week (varies)Wasserman does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
