Responsibilities:


As Sports Data coverage Specialist you will be responsible for the daily work tasks and task assignments created for the Coverage Operations Team, working closely with the Sports Data Coverage Manager.


You will also be responsible for providing both monthly and ad-hoc Coverage Reporting, monthly and ad-hoc Coverage Insights and Coverage Project work. Strong understanding and communication of Competitor Coverage against Stats Perform Coverage, and some competitor coverage testing is also included.


The business makes many strategic decisions based of existing coverage information and your role will be to aid in the provision of this as well as the daily Coverage tasks listed in detail below.



Manage the Coverage DL and the subsequent move of this process flow to Service Now where all internal Coverage tasks and queries will provide the daily workload.




Escalation/Reassignment of Coverage Tasks or Sales Quote Queries to appropriate contacts within SLA.




Monthly Reporting on Coverage trends stemming from each of the following areas: Sales Quotes Won/Lost, Coverage Downgrades, Coverage Requests and internal coverage issues.




Special Coverage Request management, including one off game requests and co-operation with data ops and capacity planning on Tracking, Betting and Opta Vision requirements.




Provision of insight and updates to the business around fundamental coverage changes.




Ensuring the maintenance and accuracy of Coverage Dashboards, Reporting and Documents with the aid of Business Excellence team




Maintain a strong knowledge of competitor offerings and data levels.




Provision of redundancy for the Sports Data Coverage Manager regarding Sales Quotes and Sales Quote Queries.



Required Qualifications:



A minimum of 4+ years of expertise within the sports data collection industry.




Must have an in- depth knowledge of the Opta Coverage Suite and Tiering. Ideally in addition you can demonstrate knowledge across other data collection areas.




Personality with the ability to proactively launch and manage projects.




Commercial awareness: Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and working experience of data collection workflows, Stats Perform products and services, the sports betting and sports data industry, and our competition. You can apply commercial expertise and judgement to this knowledge to deliver better business outcomes.




Attention to detail around coverage and future coverage needs to ensure business commitments are met.




Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non- technical stakeholders, and the ability to present to various levels within the business.




Excellent command of English both in verbal and writing to ensure reports are produced to the highest standards.



Desired Qualifications:



Relevant customer facing experience within the sports data collection industry.




Familiar with relevant ServiceNow processes, in particular incident management and case management.




Expert knowledge around a wide variety of sports we cover across relevant data streams.




Experience with analysing and creating software requirements and relevant release processes.




Proficiency in data visualization tools and reporting software (Power Bi, Excel, etc). Ideally you can work on building basic reports on your own, at minimum you can create and drive detailed requirements with our BI team.
