This role aligns to titles such as "Marketing Manager" and "Campaign Manager".About the RoleThe Specialist, Marketing Strategy owns the UK go-to-market strategy and execution for Pearson’s Clinical Assessment portfolio. This role ensures that campaigns, messaging, and channel plans are tightly aligned to UK market priorities, customer needs, and revenue targets.In addition to UK ownership, this role plays a key strategic partnership role in supporting growth across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), adapting UK-led strategies and global frameworks to enable regional expansion.The position works closely with the Core Markets Marketing team, UK sales leadership, product management, and global clinical marketing teams to translate global strategy into locally relevant, revenue-driving marketing programs.Key ResponsibilitiesUK Strategic Marketing Campaign Planning (50%)Own and deliver UK Clinical Assessment marketing plans aligned to annual operating plan objectives, including ecommerce revenue, pipeline growth, and market expansion.Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for UK priority products and solutions across digital channels, balancing brand building and demand generation.Translate UK business priorities into clear campaign hypotheses, audience segmentation, channel mix, budget allocation, and success metrics.Partner closely with UK sales teams to align campaigns to territory priorities, key accounts, and sales motions.Analyze UK market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions and optimize investment.Ensure UK messaging and positioning clearly articulate value for clinicians, educators, and institutional buyers, aligned to regulatory, practice, and funding realities.Creative Execution & Campaign Delivery (35%)Lead end-to-end execution of UK-focused marketing campaigns, from briefing through launch and post-campaign analysis.Drive production of UK-relevant campaign assets, including:Digital and product marketing assetsSales enablement toolsThought leadership and clinical education contentCase studies and customer success storiesUtilize Wrike to manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional workflows, ensuring delivery against UK priorities.Collaborate with Creative Services, subject matter experts, and external partners to ensure assets are clinically accurate, brand-aligned, and locally relevant.MEA Growth Enablement & Regional Collaboration (10%)Support Middle East & Africa growth initiatives by adapting UK and global campaign frameworks to regional market needs.Partner with regional stakeholders to:Localize messaging and value propositionsAlign campaigns to regional sales prioritiesShare UK best practices and performance insightsBalance scalability with local relevance, ensuring MEA initiatives leverage UK learning while respecting regional market dynamics.Relationship Management & Brand Leadership (5%)Serve as the primary UK marketing contact for Clinical Assessment, acting as a trusted partner to sales, product, and global marketing teams.Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment, clarity, and momentum across initiatives.Act as a brand ambassador for Pearson Clinical Assessment in the UK, ensuring consistent, high-quality representation across all channels and touchpoints.Core CompetenciesStrategic problem solving and commercial thinkingIntegrated campaign planning and prioritizationStrong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
