Social Media & Marketing Virtual Assistant

Role OverviewWe are seeking a creative, proactive Social Media & Marketing Virtual Assistant to support a growing coaching and digital education business focused on women and mothers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning existing content into engaging social media posts, staying on top of trends, and helping build brand visibility without needing heavy oversight. The role will start part-time and may expand as the business and marketing initiatives grow.Key Responsibilities1) Social Media Content Execution● Turn existing photos and videos into engaging Instagram content (posts, Reels, short-form video)● Repurpose content to align with current social media trends● Assist with caption formatting, hashtags, and posting consistency● Schedule and organize social media content in advance2) Content Organization & Repurposing● Organize existing media assets (photos, videos, clips)● Support light video editing for Reels and short clips● Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging3) Marketing Support & Research● Assist with basic Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads support● Conduct backend research on ads, trends, and performance● Collaborate with the client to test, refine, and improve marketing efforts● Share insights and findings to help guide decisions (no hard selling required)4) Collaboration & Growth Support● Work collaboratively with the client rather than independently owning strategy● Be open to learning new tools and marketing approaches● Support upcoming launches, courses, and a future community platform\nRequired Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)Experience managing or supporting Instagram accountsStrong understanding of social media trends, especially short-form videoAbility to repurpose existing content creativelyComfortable working independently and taking initiativeStrong communication skills and attention to detailNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Reels, short-form video, or light video editingFamiliarity with Meta Ads (or willingness to learn)Background in coaching, wellness, or community-based brandsAbility to explain findings and ideas clearly to a non-technical founderTools & PlatformsInstagramMeta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) – nice to haveBasic content scheduling tools (flexible)\n$250 - $700 a monthPart-time to start (10–20 hours per week)Eastern Standard Time (EST)Opportunity to increase hours as needs become clearer\nWhy Join Assist World?100% REMOTE$50 birthday bonus$200 testimonial bonus$300 tenure bonus every 6 months$500 entry monthly raffleNO TRACKER.
