Summary of the RoleAs Social Media Manager (Korea), you will take the lead with social editorial planning and publishing, 1-2-1 community engagement, and developing bold and exciting ways to activate fans, influencers and events on social media in the Korean market.You will plan and create social content strategies and editorial calendars, working closely with our wider teams in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Melbourne, to develop creative concepts and design briefs that deliver activations and social assets that take them on this journey. You will assist with the amplification of our work in social, including suggested budgets, planning around formats and objectives, and implementation.You will have an expert understanding of the language and culture nuances of SNS in Korea.You will be the key liaison between the teams working on regional client social media strategy and the local Korean social strategy - to be able to do that you must be aware of events of cultural importance and local trends. Outside of your day-to-day accounts, you may also have the opportunity to work on new business and projects, advise on the changing landscape of platforms and tools across our roster, be a go-to for social knowledge, and contribute to industry and social trend reports.Across the 1000heads Group there are dozens of social specialists, and you will over time pursue mutually beneficial relationships and share learning about the latest tech, campaigns, and trends.This is an initial contract role with a possibility of converting to a permanent position depending on performance and business needs.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESCreative copywriting and social publishingStimulating and sustaining conversations and relationships with a brand’s audienceManaging the day-to-day delivery of editorial, creative, and strategic plansBuilding strong relationships with clients and identifying business development opportunitiesOffering strategic thinking, creative spark, and commercial understanding to develop plansResearching the latest social tools, platforms and trends – and working to ensure that we are the first to innovate and experimentWeekly social updates to the internal teamDelivering relevant reports, performance tracking & trend analysis to clientsYour first priority will be to do your job to the best of your abilities.
