Social Media Editor

We’re looking for a talented Social Media Editor to join our Athens team and help manage and grow our presence across key social media platforms. The ideal candidate lives and breathes sports, understands digital trends, and knows how to turn content into real engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and publish daily content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

• Adapt website articles, betting tips, and sports news into engaging, platform-specific posts

• Write captions, short-form copy, and post descriptions aligned with the Betarades.gr tone of voice

• Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to plan and execute content calendars

• Monitor trends in sports, betting, and social media to create timely and relevant content

• Engage with the community through comments, messages, and interactions

• Track performance and suggest improvements based on analytics and insights

• Proven experience in social media management or digital content creation

• A strong interest in sports and current sporting events

• Familiarity with sports betting terminology and related content (preferred)

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style per platform

• Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or video editing tools

• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing

• Previous experience in media, sports websites, or betting platforms
