Senior Production Technician

Based in Brisbane, you'll join a fast-paced broadcast environment where reliability, precision and teamwork matter every day. This role exists to help keep our outside broadcast operations performing at their best, ensuring viewers enjoy seamless coverage from trackside to screen. You'll be part of a skilled team supporting high-profile racing events and live productions.

How you'll be part of the action

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager - Queensland, you will support live broadcast operations, technical readiness and on-site production delivery across South East Queensland. Your expertise will help maintain broadcast quality and support crews in high-pressure live environments. Trade the standard 9-to-5 for a dynamic schedule, with Mondays free and weekends spent behind world-class live productions, working across exciting broadcasts on Saturdays and alternate Sundays.

• Prepare broadcast equipment for live productions and events


• Monitor audio, video and communications during live broadcasts


• Maintain outside broadcast systems and technical infrastructure


• Support remote venue connectivity and signal quality


• Guide operators and provide on-site technical leadership


• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate required repairs

What you'll need to succeed

You bring strong technical capability, a calm approach under pressure and enjoy working as part of a collaborative broadcast team.

• Experienced in outside broadcast television environments


• Strong capability across broadcast systems and networking


• Knowledge of Ross, Panasonic and EVS technology


• Ability to prioritise work in live production settings


• Proven communication and team collaboration skills


• Commitment to quality, safety and operational excellence
