PowerStandards helps public safety and public sector agencies prepare for, manage, and maintain accreditation through intelligent automation, evidence management, and AI-assisted compliance workflows. In this critical role, you’ll lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of our AI-driven accreditation capabilities, transforming how agencies achieve and sustain excellence. What You Will do AI-Driven Product Strategy & RoadmapDefine and execute the strategic roadmap for PowerStandards, with a focus on AI-first accreditation management and intelligent compliance automation.Align product goals with NEOGOV’s broader mission and customer outcomes, emphasizing predictive insights, AI copilots, and standards mapping automation.Continuously evaluate industry trends and customer feedback to evolve the product toward scalable, intelligent, and self-learning systems.Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with engineering, data science, and design teams to embed AI into core product workflows—e.g., document classification, standards mapping, and audit preparation.Collaborate with GTM and customer success teams to ensure seamless adoption of AI capabilities and measurable user outcomes.Serve as the voice of the customer, balancing innovation with reliability, compliance, and trust in AI-assisted decision-making.Market Research & Competitive IntelligenceConduct deep research into accreditation standards, audit practices, and AI applications across the public sector.Benchmark PowerStandards against leading SaaS and AI-based compliance solutions to identify differentiation opportunities.Monitor regulatory and ethical developments in AI that affect product design, transparency, and explainability.AI-Enhanced Product DevelopmentLead product development from ideation through release, prioritizing high-impact AI features such as:Automated standards mapping from policy content.Intelligent gap analysis and accreditation readiness scoring.Conversational accreditation copilot for administrators and assessors.Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that align technical feasibility with end-user value.Collaborate with data and ML engineers to design safe, transparent, and effective AI capabilities.Customer Engagement & Insight IntegrationPartner directly with accreditation managers, assessors, and compliance officers to identify pain points and co-design solutions.Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into a prioritized roadmap that reflects customer and regulatory realities.Lead pilot programs for new AI-driven features and use feedback to refine models and workflows.Performance Monitoring & ReportingDefine key success metrics for AI adoption, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.Use data-driven insights to improve product quality, user outcomes, and operational efficiency.Communicate strategic progress and product impact to senior leadership and external stakeholders.Go-to-Market EnablementCollaborate with marketing and sales to position PowerStandards as the industry-leading AI accreditation platform.Develop narratives that communicate how AI helps agencies achieve compliance faster, with less effort and more confidence.Support enablement efforts for internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with product capabilities and roadmap.Mentorship & LeadershipMentor associate product managers and cross-functional peers on AI literacy and ethical product design.Foster a learning culture where innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement thrive. Who You Are Analytical with problem-solving, and storytelling abilities.Proven success leading AI-enabled product initiatives from concept to launch.Excellent communicator with stakeholder management skills.Proficient in Agile product development and tools like Jira, Aha!, or Productboard.What You HaveExperience7–10 years of product management experience in Enterprise SaaS, ideally with AI/ML-integrated platforms or compliance tools.Experience with case management, standards management, or content intelligence solutions preferred.EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.MBA or advanced degree a plus.ExpertiseDeep understanding of enterprise workflow automation, document intelligence, and accreditation or compliance processes.Familiarity with applied AI technologies such as NLP, classification, summarization, and recommendation systems.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience with accreditation management platforms or policy/standards management systems.Familiarity with data governance, model explainability, and ethical AI frameworks.Track record of launching successful SaaS products that leveraged AI to deliver measurable outcomes.
