Additionally, it is responsible for the data engineering, science, and products for Disney Entertainment & ESPN, along with their interconnection with other parts of The Walt Disney Company. About the RoleThe Commerce Data and Identity alliance in Disney Entertainment ESPN Product & Technology is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our centralized source of truth for identity, device, and access data. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless cross-platform user experiences, accurate device and access intelligence, and compliant data activation for analytics, personalization, and security.As a key leader within the Data team, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for managing identity, device, and customer access metadata. Your work will empower internal teams—including Product, Analytics, Data Science, and neighboring Data teams—to leverage trusted, high-quality data to drive business decisions and enhance user experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep data expertise, capable of translating ambiguous business needs into actionable product roadmaps while balancing scalability, performance, and privacy compliance. Join us in delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions that power world-class entertainment experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirementsDrive the development of a device intelligence product, supporting data enrichment, machine learning, and cross-product device resolutionCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Architecture, Privacy, Governance, and Business Teams to build scalable, compliant, and highly available data productsEnable data activation by ensuring data is easily accessible for analytics, machine learning, data science, and other data use casesOversee stakeholder engagement, prioritizing intake requests, defining requirements, and ensuring timely, compliant data deliveryDevelop and maintain clear product documentation, including detailed product briefs, roadmaps, and success metricsIdentify and mitigate risks, addressing key blockers and dependencies across teamsChampion data governance and privacy compliance, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory landscapes while maintaining business agilityBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in data product management, platform development, data engineering, or related fieldsProven ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams and vendor relationshipsAbility to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver scalable, high-impact data solutionsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to measure success through data-driven insightsBachelor's degree requiredPreferred QualificationsUndergraduate Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Economics, or equivalent.Advance CS degree or MBA is a plusShown experience in video streaming, OTT, and subscription based servicesExperience working with data ingestion APIs, warehouse infrastructure, and data sharing technologiesFamiliarity with identity resolution, authentication flows, and device metadata managementFamiliarity with big data storage, processing technologies, and modeling techniques (Druid, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift, star schema, OLAP, etc.)Additional Information#DISNEYTECHThe hiring range for this position in NYC/Seattle is $148,700 to $199,400 per year, and in Bristol and Santa Monica is $141,900-$190,300 per year, and in San Francisco is $155,400-$208,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
