Job Description SummaryGE Vernova Consulting Services is seeking a product manager with hands-on experience in ISO/RTO planning environments, who understands the regulatory, analytical, and operational complexity of planning future power systems under increasing renewable penetration, electrification, and reliability requirements. As a senior product manager, you will enable, lead the product vision and roadmap, working closely with software development team and energy system experts to drive enhancement and future roadmap of CS's integrated planning software platformJob DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesDrive the product vision and long-term roadmap for integrated systems grid planning platformTranslate evolving planning needs (e.g., capacity expansion, resource adequacy, interconnection, resilience, and decarbonization) into product strategyAnticipate regulatory and stakeholder requirements across multi-year planning horizonsServe as a domain expert on system operators long-term planning processes, including transmission planning, resource adequacy, and scenario-based studiesEngage directly with planners, engineers, and stakeholders at system operators, utilities and market participants to gather requirements and validate solutionsRepresent customer needs internally and externally, including in roadmap reviews and product briefingsLead cross-functional product teams to define user stories, features, and detailed requirementsPrioritize development based on customer impact, regulatory relevance, and technical feasibilityEnsure planning workflows, models, and outputs align with system operators, industry, policy standards and processesOwn release planning and ensure high-quality, auditable product deliveryTrack changes in policy, system operators requirements, and planning rules and translate them into product requirementsSupport customer-facing discussions with regulators, utilities, and market participants. Partner with sales and customer success to support enterprise deployments, pilots, and renewalsContribute to product positioning, pricing, and competitive differentiation working closely with marketing and commercial teams globally. Support demos, RFPs, and long-term customer partnershipsRequired QualificationsMaster's degree from an accredited university or Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience in energy sector working in transmission and generation planning.10+ years of experience in product management, power system planning, or energy systems rolesDeep knowledge of long-term transmission and system planning processes, power system economics and power flow solutions.Strong understanding of power system modeling, scenario analysis, and planning assumptionsProven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiativesDesired CharacteristicsDirect experience working at or with an ISO or RTOBackground in power systems engineering, energy economics, or a related technical fieldFamiliarity with FERC transmission planning, interconnection, and resource adequacy frameworksExperience with cloud-based analytics platforms or model-driven software productsStrong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
