What You Will do Own the product strategy and roadmap for GovernmentJobs.com, SchoolJobs.com, agency career sites, and the candidate apply experienceLead improvements to job seeker discovery, search, relevance, and application conversionDrive SEO-focused enhancements, including technical SEO, structured content, and organic traffic growth initiativesPartner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutionsDefine product requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful execution from concept through launchUse data and insights to identify drop-off points and improve the end-to-end candidate journeyEstablish and track success metrics tied to candidate engagement, apply completion, and site performanceCommunicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to leadership and key stakeholders Who You Are 7-10+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of candidate-facing digital experiences Proven experience working on one or more of the following:Job boards or marketplace-style platformsCompany career sitesApplicant Tracking System (ATS) apply flowsSEO-driven consumer web productsStrong understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO and content strategyDemonstrated ability to optimize conversion funnels and improve user experience through dataExperience working directly with engineering teams in an agile product development environmentExcellent communication, prioritization, and execution skills Preferred QualificationsExperience in HR technology, recruiting platforms, or talent acquisition productsFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Aha!, Google Analytics, and GainsightPassion for building products that support public sector and education hiring Why This Role MattersThe job seeker experience is the front door to public sector hiring.
