About the RoleNema is pioneering a new type of product team built for modern healthcare delivery. We believe empowered product teams—armed with the right tools—can build faster, learn more quickly, and stay closer to the people they serve than traditional product organizations. As such, we empower product managers to own the end-to-end software development process using modern, tool-driven workflows. In practice, this means acting as a full-stack “product architect”: operating across product strategy, engineering, design, and data analysis to discover user needs, design solutions, and implementing solutions using modern no-code/low-code tools, configuration-based systems, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work hands-on with clinicians, care coordinators, and patients to deeply understand pain points and translate them into scalable product and workflow solutions across the core domains of Nema’s business:Growth: driving patient acquisition through direct-to-consumer and referral channels and guiding patients smoothly through admissions and into treatmentCare Delivery: improving patient and provider experiences through scalable tools and workflowsBilling/RCM: accelerating reimbursement through efficient billing, claims, and collections workflowsWe’re looking for someone who embodies “T-shaped product skills”—someone with deep expertise in product management and a broad understanding across adjacent disciplines (like design, analytics, business strategy, and engineering). In this role you’ll collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, translate insights across teams, and make well-rounded decisions that drive impact while maintaining product excellence.What You’ll AchieveIn the first 3 months, you will:Build a deep understanding of Nema’s care model, patient journey, and operational workflowsMap the current-state systems across growth, care delivery, and billing/RCMShip scoped workflow improvements through no-code/configuration-based implementationsUse rapid experimentation to validate hypotheses, uncover bottlenecks, and drive measurable improvements in conversion, experience, and operational efficiencyExample initiatives may include: optimizing referral pathways, redesigning payer eligibility and benefits checks, implementing personalized & automated touchpoints during admissionsIn the first 6 months, you will:Own end-to-end product initiatives with measurable impact on care and business KPIsPartner with clinical, growth, and operations teams to surface insights and test improvementsIntroduce new tools or vendor capabilities as part of the product toolkitEstablish documentation and decision frameworks to keep teams aligned and movingExample initiatives may include: improving session occurrence rates, reducing provider admin burden, accelerating claims resolution and reimbursement timelines, implementing agentic AI tools to scale care operationsIn the first 12 months, you will:Own roadmap outcomes across at least one core business domainScale solutions from MVP into durable systems and operationsDeepen our product architectureHelp shape future decisions around bringing more engineering in-house as we evolve the tech stackQualificationsYou’ll be a great fit if you:Bring 4–6+ years of product experience with a track record of shipping thoughtful, user-centered productsHave experience in early-stage healthcare delivery startupsHave operated in environments with high ownership and broad cross-functional surface area (e.g., growth, ops, data, clinical)Are comfortable working within a modern assembled tech stack—integrating and configuring third-party tools, not just building everything from scratchEnjoy designing and implementing workflow solutions using no-code/low-code, analytics, and AI-enabled toolingAre a structured thinker who can connect patient/provider needs to operational workflows and business outcomesCommunicate clearly, write well, and bring clarity to complex cross-functional workBring curiosity, humility, and an experimental mindset—test > learn > iterateWhy Join NemaWe’re a growing team of clinicians and operators united by a shared mission: to reduce suffering for people with PTSD and other trauma related disorders. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience and qualifications, with a base salary range of $140,000-160,000 + equity. The package will also include PTO, a healthcare stipend, a 401(k) with matching, an annual education stipend, an annual “work from home” stipend, and paid parental leave. This role is remote and the candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.
